I received my BA in Psychology and my MS in Counseling from Pittsburg State University. I to this day love going back and cheering on the Gorillas football team!  I also completed my Life Coaching Certification through The Life Coach Institute- United Kingdom.

My professional experience includes working within the juvenile justice system, private practice, community mental health setting, school counseling, the adoption & foster care setting as well as a rehabilitation hospital for traumatic brain injuries and a corporate setting. I am passionate about the work I get to do everyday in my private practice. It is a rewarding and challenging career but one I am honored to be in.

I am honored to be a part of AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors), IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals). I am also telehealth certified through the Telehealth Institute. 

In my private life, I have an amazing husband (who was also a Gorilla),  I am a twin mom (one boy, one girl) who keep me very busy. Being a mom is absolutely God's greatest gift!  For fun I love listening to music, going to concerts, and traveling with my family, our favorite place being Gulf Shores AL and I also LOVE to read! 

I truly believe healing and recovery is an emotional, physical and spiritual adventure. My hope is to provide a safe, pleasant, and nurturing environment to build strong, accountable, therapeutic relationships with each of my clients.

I am licensed in both Kansas and Missouri and welcome new clients at this time.
